This small, delightful Bed & Breakfast, incidentally just a 20-minute drive to the Mediterranean seaside, lies in the famous vineyards area of the Colli Albani, on the rim of the vulcanic Lake Albano/Castlgandolfo where the Pope has his summer residence, surrounded by canoe clubs and splendid woods. The area has various archeologic, artistic, naturalistic and food/wine itineraries including: nearby Frascati renowned for its white wine and its beautiful baroque villas; ancient Grottaferrata (last year celebrated its Millenium); Marino with its whimsical October wine-fest and super sports-structures Palaghiaccio Ice Arena (just 8 km distant) & the Palacavicchi complex ( 10 km) ; Ariccia with Bernini's Chigi Palace and the Palariccia Rollerskating & Fencing arena (3 km circa); Nemi, the delightful hill-top lake-town of flowers and strawberries; Genzano's world famous "Infiorata", the Corpus Cristi Flower Petals Festival in June, just to name a few. Two double rooms on the 1st floor have been made available for overnight Guests on short-term visits. Both rooms have a balcony and a fridge.One fold-away bed may be added in Master bedroom on request. The Twin bedroom has 2 comfortable single beds,
which may be substituted with a Double bed on request. The 2 rooms share a fully-equipped
adjacent bathroom reserved for Guests only. The garden is at Guests' disposal and the abundant personalized breakfast is included in the price,
also for food intollerances. Free courtesy pick-up at Ciampino airport only: just send flight number & arrival time with your reservation; at "Da Vinci Int'l" airport (FCO), the charge will be Euro 60.00 (max 4 persons).

From Leonardo da Vinci International airport:
by car, follow directions for ROME, then follow on approx.10 km , look for G.R.A. (Great Ring Road)exit on the right (the first that you encounter direction Naples); once on the G.R.A. follow around until exit 'uscita 23' direction S.S. 7 Via Appia, Ciampino airport, Albano; just before arriving at the main square of Albano, you will see an AGIP petrol station on the left. Once at the main square, turn immediately right, direction Pomezia, Torvaianica, Ospedale) onto Via Olivella (there's a little kiosk on the corner of the Park )and follow straight down alongside the Town Park, about 500 meters on the left, n. 63.
DON'T TAKE VICOLO OLIVELLA A LANE WHICH APPEARS ON THE RIGHT ! Watch for the green sign FARMACIA (Pharmacy), the B&B is about 7 buildings beyond,
left hand side of street. You can park directly beside.
-by train (Euro 11.00 leaving every half-hour) to ROMA -Termini (central station) and
there take the local commuter train for Albano(Euro 1,90) leaving practically
every hour; or as an alternative to this commuter train, take the Metro "A" direction Anagnina, to the end: there take a COTRAL bus
(every half-hour)to Albano. We'll pick you up at the local train/bus depot.
From North A-1 highway: follow G.R.A., exit 23 S.S. 7 Via Appia, Ciampino Airport, Albano.

canadese, il figlio Marcello e Mario, il marito architetto. Una soluzione ideale
per i turisti che desiderano combinare il turismo nella Città Eterna con le delizie del
lago , del trekking nei boschi circostanti del Parco Regionale dei Castelli Romani oppure, in alternativa, prendere il sole ( a soli 20 km. verso ovest) sulle spiagge dorate e macchiate di vegetazione mediterranea. Se ci si vuole spingere un po' più lontano si può fare un salto a Napoli col treno ( poco più di 2 ore di viaggio) per vedere il lascito delle antiche civiltà di Pompei ed Ercolano.
Nel villino di proprietà sono state adibite 2 stanze al primo piano per accogliere gli ospiti. Entrambe le stanze hanno balconi & frigoriferi, condividono un bagno
adiacente le camere e completamento attrezzato. Il giardino è a disposizione degli ospiti. . L'abbondante colazione continentale è compresa nel prezzo,
anche per intolleranze alimentari. E’ inoltre disponibile l'accesso WiFi i
